TANTRIC MEDITATION I - Foundations

MARCH 13 - JUNE 5 (no class April 24)
MONDAYS 5:00-7:10 PM
LIVESTREAM / RECORDED

There are many definitions of Tantra, among them - “to weave”, "to expand" and "to protect".  Tantric meditation, therefore, offers an approach to practice in which we weave together various tools that invite an expansion of consciousness, all while protecting the psyche. Ultimately, this Tantric approach is designed to help us expand our capacity in the world and our joy in daily life.

Through lecture, practice, and Q & A, this course establishes the foundations of Tantric meditation, then introduces Krama - progression of practice - which provides a blueprint for moving forward. Key goals of the course are to help newer meditators become established in a personal practice, to guide more experienced meditators as they deepen their practice beyond a plateau, and to help all students gain a broader perspective for the rich journey ahead. Teachers will become more skillful at choosing and leading meditations with targeted effects.
