320 HOUR TEACHER TRAINING
Bridge to 500 Hour RYT with Yoga Alliance

This 320 hour, advanced training is open to teachers and non-teachers alike who desire to deepen their knowledge.  Extensive and in-depth, this training goes above and beyond your average teacher training. It is founded on the principle of expanding one’s knowledge and understanding of Yoga through in depth study, deep personal experience, and dedicated practice. It taps into ancient Vedic and Sri Vidya Tantric traditions, giving you tools to utterly transform your life and practice. This program is a life changer, and requires a high level of commitment.

Held In Salt Lake City, Utah, this program is built around a series of Master Trainings from the ParaYoga tradition, each of which is a brilliant gem in its own right. As a Certified Level III ParaYoga teacher, Master Teacher Mary Johnston-Coursey is one of only a few teachers around the country qualified to offer these courses. In addition to these four stand-alone courses, there are several shorter required courses, plus a number of elective options to round out the training. This training serves as a bridge for those students who have earned a 200 Hour RYT and are seeking to further their studies, practice and/or teaching of yoga. Certified by Yoga Alliance, completion of this course can result in earning an RYT 500 Certification.

The high quality of this training is informed by over 35 years of focused study, including 15 years with ParaYoga and the Sri Vidya tradition. This level of experience and synthesis of profound knowledge is a rarity in these days of popular yoga culture in North America.  Mary’s goal is to give as many yogis as possible access to these deeper teachings and build a community around this auspicious tradition. Ultimately, this training is designed to help people step into their strength and light, and overcome subtle obstacles of the unconscious to access a life of greater capacity, filled with joy.

SCHEDULE

The offerings listed below are a series of independent modules, spread out over a period of 1-2 years. This gives students time to integrate the teachings between offerings, as well spreading out the financial and time commitments. While Vinyasa Krama is suggested as a foundational training for the other 3 Master Trainings, the courses may be done in any order.

The four ParaYoga © Master Trainings are 6 day courses. Sometimes Mary will offer them over 6 continuous days, and sometimes she will offer them spread across two weekends. Most other modules are offered over a long weekend (Four Desires, Adjusting Clinic, Seat of the Teacher). Several classes will be offered once a week on weekday evenings (Tantric Meditation I and II). Some courses will be offered on weekend days (Yoga Nidra, Advanced Practice Series).
